Thread is a cultural fashion publication for rebellious academics that explores the intersection of high fashion trends with their cultures and origins. Each issue takes one pattern or fabric and investigates it through history into trend predictions.
Issue 01 focuses on the life cycle of the checkered pattern which disputedly originated anywhere from 1850 back to the 17th century in Europe.
